A 10% discount (on monthly tuition only) is given to families with 2 or more children enrolled in our programs.

About US
AIGY Beginnings
Hello there! We would like to introduce ourselves to you as the owners of Aiken Gymnastics, Inc. We are Draha and Radek Kriz. We are originally from Czechoslovakia, and have coached gymnastics at several competitive levels in the United States as well as Czechoslovakia.
Draha was on the Czechoslovakian National Team that competed in the Olympic Games held in Montreal in 1976, where they placed fifth in the world. Radek was a coach for the Czechoslovakian National Team.
Early in their coaching careers, Draha and Radek produced several national champions for Czechoslovakia. The most well-known of these gymnasts is Hana Ricna, who was a silver medalist on the balance beam in the World Championships held in Budapest, Hungary in 1983. She was also a bronze medalist on bars in the Montreal World Championships of 1985.
Draha and Radek started Aiken Gymnastics in 1993. Throughout the years they have coached individual and team US National Champions in Level 8, 9 and 10. Together they have coached numerous Level 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 Individual and Team State Champions in South Carolina.
Grace Taylor is arguably one of the most successful gymnasts to come from Aiken Gymnastics. She began training with Draha and Radek at the age of four and became the first gymnast from South Carolina to reach the prestigious Elite Level. Grace also represented the United States in a competition against Japan. She won the Friendship Cup in 2006 (an international competition) and later received a full gymnastics scholarship to the University of Georgia. As a sophomore, Grace helped lead the UGA Gymdogs to the 2008 NCAA National Championship title. Grace was also awarded the Individual NCAA National Championship on balance beam.
Draha and Radek are members in good standing of USA gymnastics and are Safety Certified by the USAG, and their staff are dedicated to excellence in the sport of gymnastics and a healthy and friendly atmosphere.

Sabina's vast knowledge of gymnastics comes from her experiences as a gymnast. She has competed in levels 4-9 and captured several state titles along the way. She now coaches the Aiken Gymnastics team.

Kaya is a former AIGY student who competed in levels 4 & 5 as well as Advanced Prep-Opt and won several state titles. Here at AIGY she coaches the xcel teams and the pre-school classes.
